PCB Assembly

Pick and Place Process – In-House PCB Assembly at EIE Labs.

At EIE Labs, we believe that control over every production step results in higher quality and faster turnaround times for our customers. That’s why we’ve brought the Pick and Place process fully in-house as part of our PCB Assembly workflow.

What is the Pick and Place Process?

The Pick and Place process involves automatically placing electronic components onto PCBs with speed, precision, and accuracy. Our Pick and Place machines are programmed to handle a wide variety of surface-mount devices (SMDs), from tiny resistors and capacitors to complex ICs.

Why In-House Pick and Place?

  • Faster Lead Times: With no dependency on external vendors, we reduce waiting time and speed up your project delivery.
  • Better Quality Control: Every PCB is assembled under our supervision, allowing for real-time inspection and immediate correction of any placement issues.
  • Flexibility for Prototyping and Small Batches: Whether it’s a production run or a small prototype batch, we offer flexible assembly options tailored to your project needs.
  • Cost Efficiency: Managing the process in-house helps us control costs, which means more competitive pricing for our customers.

From Pick and Place to Final Testing

After component placement, boards go through reflow soldering and rigorous testing to ensure every connection is solid and every circuit performs as designed.
